Dr. Surendra Singh

Dr. Surendra Singh, M.Sc. Ph.D. (B.H.U.); P.D.F. (U.K., Israel & P.R.China), F.B.S., F.N.R.S from the Republic of India is IIMSAM's Scientific Facilitator and Adviser for Micro Algal Enterprise and Spirulina Initiatives. He is the Chief Technology Officer of Hash Biotech Labs Pvt. Ltd. IIMSAM's Official Working Partner and Techology Facilitator from India.

Dr. Surendra Singh is a renowned scientist in the field of micro algal biotechnology and has extensive post graduate research experience spanning over 20 years. He completed his M.Sc and Ph.D. on blue green algae and applied phycology from the Banaras Hindu University, India and was awarded with a Commonwealth Post Doctoral Fellowship by the government of the United Kingdom, at The University of Dundee. He has extensive research experience in the field of Algal Biotechnology. As an active researcher and scientist par international standards, he is well versed in the field of biotechnology and microbiology; Dr. Singh's expertise has been well acclaimed and demonstrated globally.

Dr. Singh has previously worked with various renowned scientists in UK, Israel, India and China. He has supervised various research projects sponsored by the Government of India. He has also successfully supervised 61 PhD's, Post Doc's and M. Phil candidates and published 32 research papers in various national and international journals. Dr. Singh is an active reviewer of various microbiological journals.

At present, Dr Singh, serves as the Chief Technology Officer within Hash Biotech Labs Pvt. Ltd. and is currently spearheading various micro algal research initiatives in the areas of Phycology, Neutraceuticals, Pharmaceuticals and Bio Pigments.

Dr. Singh likes to spend his free time in culinary pursuits and has an avid interest in astrology and Indian history.
